Cleaning for Health, The Cleaning Company, LLC's standards Part I
by Dewey Coerper on 08/05/10
It's been a while since my last post, however, with some time freed up, I will have more ability to focus on my information efforts.
Did you know that The Cleaning Company, LLC has been cleaning for health reasons all along, not just aestetics?
Since inception in 2004, The Cleaning Company, LLC has used products registered by with the EPA as disinfectant hospital grade cleaners and these products also have their own EPA number on the back of the label. With the back to school almost and flu season right behind it, it's good to know that when The Cleaning Company, LLC cleans your establishment, you are going to be as clean as possible.
Cleaning with Rubbing Alcohol
by Dewey Coerper on 03/23/10
A lot of common products can be used to clean various items, quite often you get stumped on how to get some sort of stain out. Here are a couple of quick tips that we use in both our residential and commercial cleaning environments. With any of these posts tips, test in an inconspicious area first.
1. If you have a stubborn stain on any sort of linoleum, take a cotton swap, soak it in rubbing alcohol and rub over the stain. Repeat as necessary until gone.
2. On carpets, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a clean rag and dab until it comes clean.
3. Got kids? Most likely you have stickers or sticker residue on a wall or floor or both. (We have had both.) Use a small amount of rubbing alcohol to get it clean. Again, make sure the rag or towel you use is clean also.
I hope this helps and happy cleaning.

A little did ya know.........

"Tests have shown that vacuuming can kill 100% of young fleas and 96% of adult fleas."
I found that kind of interesting, especially considering we have a dog with fleas and are having one heck of a time getting rid of them. Suffice it to say, the house is getting vacuum daily now.

What is the best way to clean my house?
by Dewey Coerper on 03/19/10
Other than to hire The Cleaning Company, LLC to clean your house, here are a couple tips to cleaning.
1. Whatever room you are going to clean, always start at the top and work your way down. This might sound like one of those common sense concepts, but it's amazing how often we see people starting in the middle or on the bottom and then having to redo what has already been cleaned. By starting at the top and working down, this allows for any dust that's been disturbed to settle to the next level down before cleaning.
2. Chemicals: Use chemicals sparingly, as a little goes a long way.
I hope this helps.

What is the best cleaner, or what cleaner should I use for my stainless steel applicances?
by Dewey Coerper on 03/19/10
Remember from My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the father used Windex on everything from cleaning the tables in his restaurant to cleaning up cuts and scrapes?
The Cleaning Company, LLC has used every type of cleaner for stainless appliances, some cleaners have been expensive, some have been cheap, either way though, Windex is by far and away the most cost effective AND gets the job done. There is one trick to using Windex, I would suggest to use a clean towel and not use paper toweling. If possible, use a towel that HAS NOT been washed with fabric softeners, this tends to leave streaks. Also, on the whole towel subject, I would suggest using microfiber cloths.
I hope this helps.
